resorts are opening up thanksgiving to a string of storms that brought an early winter to the sierra nevada. just in time for the thanksgiving holiday. >> of the group of lake tahoe area ski resorts of already open and more are expected to follow suit. those that are open are boreal, heavenly, kirkwood, north star and, sqwaw valley. melrose place opened on wednesday. sierra at tahoe on thursday. alpine meadows and towel donner on december 7th. >> 53 out the door in mountain view. half moon bay coming in at 55 degrees. 56 for powell. as we take the numbers and to the afternoon expect '60s a bit warmer and drier than what we saw this weekend. again we do have a storm system to our north. i do not think it will impact the bay area today. milpitas coming in at 65. 67 for palo alto. similar conditions to the east bank. mid-60's for antioch, livermore, 64 in san leandro. mostly sunny skies for the east bay shoreline.
